We have participate in many government activities to promote our government campaigns ,like “Speak Mandarin campaign”, ”Courtesy Campaign”, “Respect the Elderly Campaign” etc. We also combined with Textile Dealers Friendly Association and Sultan Plaza Association to organize “GST” talks for our member.

Many textile businesses were located in and around North Bridge road region. Due to land redevelopment by the government, shop owners negotiated with a property developer, who had a reserve land in Jalan Sultan, to build a textile centre to relocate the affected shops. Textile centre was built and completed in 1974 to become the main textile collecting and distributing centre in Singapore and its name was soon made known throughout South East Asia.

For public welfare of our society, we have donated to severe charity organnization. In 2000. We have conducted a golf charity tournament to raise fund for Children Charities Association. Seventeen hundred thousand dollars were raised and thus we achieved “Francis Thomas Award” title.

In every year of the lunar seven month,we celebrated ghost festival to enhance rapport and unity within our members in the association. To strengthen relationship with Textile Dealers Friendly Association and Sultan Plaza Association, we have also organize combined lunar Chinese New Year get-together functions and golf tournaments for the three association’s member.
